Appointments & Cancellations

Booking & Deposits

To reserve your appointment, we require a valid credit card at the time of booking. Appointments scheduled online and groups of 3 or more require a 50% deposit. Advance reservations are recommended for best availability, but walk-ins are welcome and will be accommodated as our schedule allows.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Life happens! If you need to adjust your appointment Cancel or reschedule with 48+ hours’ notice to avoid fees. Changes made within 48 hours may result in a 50% charge. Rescheduling during this window will also require a 50% deposit (an additional 50% if originally booked online). No-shows are charged 100% of the scheduled service price(s). Package and group appointments require 72 hours’ notice for standard group bookings and 14 days’ notice for groups of 6 or more to avoid a 100% charge. If no card is on file, fees are added to your guest account and are due at your next visit.

Inclement Weather

During winter weather advisories in Frederick County, rescheduling within 48 hours is allowed without penalty. We may also cancel or reschedule appointments if conditions are unsafe for guests or staff.

Arrival & Check-In

We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to relax and complete any necessary intake forms. If you’re running late, we’ll do our best, but your service may be shortened to respect our next guest’s appointment. Verbena is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, parking, or weather.

Service Redos

Your satisfaction matters. If something feels off, let us know within 48 hours, and we’ll schedule a complimentary correction with your original provider.

A Peaceful Environment

We strive to create a calming space for all guests. To help us preserve this: Please silence your phone and electronic devices and keep conversations quiet in shared areas. Only guests receiving services are permitted in the spa and treatment rooms

Treatment Room Etiquette

For privacy and safety, only guests receiving a service may enter treatment rooms. No recordings of any kind are permitted by guests.

Children & Teen Guests

Guests under 18 are welcome with a signed guardian waiver. Some services may require a parent or guardian to be present. Due to safety and space, please do not bring children unless they’re receiving a service and can be supervised by a guardian.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to discontinue or refuse service if a guest’s behavior is inappropriate or disruptive to the comfort of others.

Valuables

Lockers are available, but we recommend leaving valuables at home. Verbena Salon & Spa is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Gift Cards & Certificates

All gift cards and certificates remain valid for five years from date of purchase, are redeemable for services and retail but cannot be applied to gratuities, Must be presented at time of use, and are Non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. Lost or stolen cards or gift certificate codes cannot be replaced.

Series of Five

Our Series of Five offers are a great way to save on your favorite treatments. A series Must be purchased before checkout, Cannot be shared between guests, do not expire and are not subject to penalty due to inactivity. Service prices are locked in at time-of-purchase, even if service prices increase!

Retail Returns & Refunds

Unopened products may be returned within 30 days for a full refund with proof of purchase. Opened or gently used items may be exchanged for in-store credit. All gift cards, certificates, series, and packages are final sale

Payments & Discounts

We accept all major Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx), Cash, Contactless payment methods & Verbena gift cards, certificates and vouchers.

Please note: We do not accept personal checks. Discounts and promotions cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.

Parking

Free guest parking is available in the front lot of our building. Handicap-accessible spaces are also available closest to our entrance. Please do not park behind or alongside the building. Metered two-hour parking is available on Market Street in the event of parking lot overflow.
